My first days in Japan!

Hokay, so, I am finally here!!!!!! I am really excited and so far my trip has been crazy.

So let me start. I sear to God I have never traveled for so long in my life. Heres the breakdown:
-2 hours of waiting a LAX
-11 hour plane flight
-1 hour waiting at narita airport
-3 hours of train riding to DK house warabi
-20 minutes of walking, all while carrying 2 fifty pound bags and two shoulder bags.
...oh, and did I mention it was pouring rain?

Now taking pity votes.

Things got awesome after I got to DK House Warabi though?!
(I didn't mean to type a question mark. I did that on accident. But I think its funny so I'm going to leave it.)
I met a guy that I went to high school with, Kei, and we went out to local bars that night with him and other exchange students. I was so tired I was falling asleep standing up though. Whilst standing! I was crazy tired. I drank a little but not too much. And I don't quite know how I feel about sake yet.

The next day, the 17th of September, I had orientation and I talked to not only my awesome San Francisco homie, Danielle over skype,

but also my family and my main squeeze, Kass, as well! Of which I have no pictures. I bring dishonor on my family.

Random interjection: On the plane ride over, I watched four movies. FOUR! I will now rank them.
1. A-team
2. Prince of Persia
3. Shrek 4
4. Avatar: The Last Airbender (I think I've made up my mind about you, M. Night Shyamalan. You are just awful.)

So after talking to Kass over skype (which was amazing and lifted my spirits! Thanks Kass!) I went into Harajuku and shinjuku with some international students, Kei, and Ryo (who goes to Wasada that lucky bastard). Everyone is so fashion-concious its ridiculous. Black deep-V's and jeans with 8 million pockets and buttons. Not to mention the vests. The FUCKING VESTS! Trendy bastards.

Side note: I went into the Condom-mania in Shinjuku and found a condom burglar mask. With a reservoir tip on top and everything! So priceless, I am going to try and get a picture.

Harajuku was fun and Shinjuku was fun too. We drank at a little bar called the HUB for an hour and a half and then walked around Shinjuku and passed some DOPE tranny bars! We also found the gay-section of shinjuku, of which was lacking in excitement. After that we headed home and I think I finally understand how to navigate the train lines again!

OH, and finding out that I cannot feed my goddamn TV addiction via hulu.com or cwtv.com because they only stream in the US made me very sour. SO sour in fact, I intend to write a letter. Luckily, a certain friend of mine who has already been mentioned but will not be re-mentioned due to my intense paranoia gave me a USB with the newest episode of Always Sunny in Philadelphia on it. As soon as I figure out how to play it on my Mac, I'll watch it.

Seriously though, do I need quicktime or something? Realplayer perhaps?

Alright well thats about it. I'm super excited to see what else happens and I am excited to start school. Not to mention I'm ecstatic culture shock avoided me this time around.

Anyways, here are some pictures of my sweet diggs in Minami-cho at DK House Warabi!
